Executive Director of NGO Lea Emilija Jukić participated in a panel discussion in Nikšić entitled “Economic Independence as a Key to Preventing Violence Against Women.”
The panel was organised by Zavod KROG/Institute Circle, Impuls Association and NGO Runolist.
The discussion focused on the importance of women’s economic independence, its role in preventing violence, and opportunities for empowering women who are experiencing violence or are at risk of experiencing it.
Economic independence is an important prerequisite for making independent decisions, leaving an abusive relationship and building a safe and dignified life.
