From 15 to 30 October 2025, NGO Lea Shelter for Women and Children Victims of Domestic Violence, in cooperation with the Secretariat for Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Bar, implemented the programme “Parenting School – A Month for Family Connection.”

As part of the programme, four free workshops were held for parents, foster parents and adoptive parents, with the aim of strengthening parenting skills, improving family relationships and promoting non-violent parenting practices.

The workshops focused on important topics related to everyday family life, including:

  • positive discipline and family relationships;
  • age-appropriate communication;
  • digital challenges and violence prevention;
  • final lecture and mentoring.

Through interactive activities, open discussion and the exchange of experiences, participants had the opportunity to better understand children’s needs and behaviour, improve communication and develop practical skills for creating a safer and more supportive family environment.

The programme provided a space for learning, sharing experiences and receiving professional support, with the aim of empowering parents, foster parents and adoptive parents and contributing to healthier family relationships.
