At the final conference held within the “Together for the Common Good” project, NGO Lea representative Emilija Jukić spoke at the panel discussion “The Importance of Local Initiatives for Social Cohesion.”
The panel highlighted the importance of local initiatives in building trust, strengthening connections between citizens and institutions, and creating more resilient communities.
Particular attention was given to the “eTolerancija” initiative, which, through activities focused on preventing online violence and hate speech and empowering young people, demonstrated how local ideas can contribute to broader social change.
NGO Lea’s participation in the final conference provided an opportunity to present the results and experiences gained throughout the implementation of the project, as well as to highlight the successful cooperation between NGO Lea and UNDP and the importance of the support provided to local initiatives.
