As part of the global “16 Days of Activism” campaign, the Shelter for Women and Children Victims of Domestic Violence Lea Bar organised a round table on 27.11.2025 at Hotel Princess in Bar, on the topic “Challenges of the System in Recognising and Proving Psychological Violence.”
The round table was attended by representatives of the Bar Security Department, Basic Court in Bar, General Hospital Bar, Municipality of Bar, as well as members of civil society.
The discussion focused on the challenges of recognising psychological violence, its specific characteristics, and the difficulties that may arise in the process of documenting and proving such violence.
The multidisciplinary approach was particularly important, enabling participants from different sectors to exchange experiences and examine the challenges from multiple perspectives.
The activity was implemented as part of the “Osna(žena)” project, supported by the Municipality of Bar.
