Marking the beginning of the global “16 Days of Activism” campaign, the Shelter for Women and Children Victims of Domestic Violence issued a statement sending a strong message to women and girls experiencing violence – you are not alone and help is available.

The “16 Days of Activism” campaign represents an important period for raising awareness of violence against women, highlighting its consequences and promoting available mechanisms of support and protection.

Through its statement, NGO Lea encouraged women and girls experiencing violence to seek help and support, while also informing the public about the support services provided by the organisation.

The message is clear – no woman should have to face violence alone. Help is available, and reaching out for support can be the first step towards safety and empowerment.
